Secretary General of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari has said that his party will not field candidates in the upcoming by-elections, in the constituencies where candidates were martyred in the pre-election terrorist attacks. In a statement issued here on Friday, he said that on the instructions of party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the party has decided to provide opportunity in the by-elections to those parties, whose candidates were martyred. This is a way of PPP to pay tribute to the martyrs. ”The PPP has immense respect for the martyrs because they sacrificed their lives for the cause of democracy”, said Bukhari.
