ISLAMABAD: Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Air Staff Pakistan Air Force, presented four Super Mushshak Aircraft to the Nigerian Air Force in a ceremony at NAF Base Kaduna on Monday.
The Super Mushshak is equipped with a glass cockpit and enhanced environmental control system, which has modernised the training. Pakistan and Nigeria had signed an agreement for sale of ten Super Mushshak Aircraft to the Nigerian Air Force. This contract was signed in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, last month. The contract also included operational training and technical support & assistance to the Nigerian Air Force. The Pakistan Air Force would establish this facility in the shortest possible time, the PAF spokesman said.
This contract would not only open new avenues for export of aviation equipment to foreign countries but also help in generating revenue for the country. The Super Mushshak aircraft is already in service with Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iran, Qatar and South Africa. The deal further strengthens PAC’s status as a world class aviation industry producing the supersonic JF-17 Thunder and Super Mushshak trainer aircraft.
