RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Thursday witnessed the ongoing maneuver exercise of a Corps, near Jhelum.
The exercise is being conducted in an overall framework of effectively repulsing enemy offensive through integrated application of artillery, air and combat aviation firepower.
General Raheel expressed complete satisfaction over the high standard of operational preparedness and appreciated the professional skills displayed by the participating troops.
Earlier upon his arrival, the army chief was received by Commander 30 Corps Lieutenant General Ikramul Haq and General Officer Commanding 8 Division Major General Sarfraz Sattar.
